Artist Talk - Gerard Pas

Regional artist Gerard Pas will discuss his art production over the last 35 years. Gerard will examine his art and exhibits with artist such as Murray Favro, Greg Curnoe, international exhibits with Paladino, Paolini, Richter, to recent collaborations with Chuck Close or Huang Chih-Yang in New York. Gerard will also converse his relationships with writers such as William Burroughs and musicians like the Demics also of London. Gerard was one of the first members of the Forest City Gallery in 1977 and has since exhibited his work in many of World’s museums. He still makes his home here in London and is currently a member of the Fanshawe College Fine Art Department. Gerard states categorically that “art is a catharsis” and this is the motivating factor behind his work.
