Forest City Gallery’s Hear Here Committee presents a free Instagram live event! Developed in 2013, Forest City Gallery’s Hear Here Committee executes live musical experiences throughout the year to celebrate the gallery’s roots in music and to foster London’s creative and contemporary culture. For the 34th edition of the live music series, Hear Here invites multi-faceted movement-artist Lola Loops for a special Hula hoop performance presented virtually on Instagram live.
Artist Statement
“Rooting from my love of movement and the Hoop’s spiral from, I have grounded my foundation of hip-hop, contemporary, ritual theatrics and clowning to further introduce me into the world of Whacking, GAGA, Laban, Axis Syllabus, Acro and Butoh, in the goal of creating my own self-actualized expression”
