Forest City Gallery is excited to announce the hiring of Lianne Zannier for our new role of Community Outreach & Programming Coordinator. In this role, Lianne will oversee the beginning of The Media Collaboratory and set the tone for all outreach and new media programming at FCG and we are delighted that this new role can be a part of her homecoming.
Lianne is an animator, art administrator, and visual artist born and raised in London, Ontario. As the former Operations Coordinator of VIVO Media Arts, she has previously held roles at Blue Cabin Floating Artist Residency, The National Film Board, and Struts Gallery. Lianne has a robust background in artist-run culture and is fit to support Collab frequenters and occasional users alike thrive in the new space. Lianne brings over five years of experience in the artist-run sector to this role and the Board can’t wait to see how she forms the space into a skill sharing, equipment haven supporting diverse artistic practices. We have every confidence that the community will feel welcomed by her extensive technical and historical knowledge on media arts and beyond.
