Join us at Forest City Gallery for a Woodburning workshop on Saturday, November 16th from 1-3pm, led by Adora Valizadeh! Adora Valizadeh is a local visual artist and designer with a passion for wood-burning and a proud member of FCG.
“My journey with pyrography started with a simple curiosity 6 years ago and has since grown (though it’s a long story!) into a creative practice that is all about bringing warmth, detail, and personality to each piece. I am excited to bring this hands-on workshop to Forest City Gallery, where I have had the pleasure of working alongside an amazing team of creatives.”
In this workshop, participants will explore the essentials of pyrography techniques, safety practices, and design principles. From getting to know the tools to creating your own pieces, you’ll find an inspiring and supportive environment to bring your ideas to life. Whether you are new to woodworking or just looking to try something creative, join us for a fun and supportive session that is all about creativity and community.
"I believe in the power of art to take us further and intend to convey the message to my audiences that, regardless of our gender, race, or origin, we, as human beings, share the same types of personalities and natural expressions that make us all equal in nature."
If you have any concerns before the workshop and like to discuss, feel free to reach out to me at adorafiction@hotmail.com.
